How teachers prepare future citizens

Citizens
Educators around the world are a communion pairing the younglings to not the just be learned person or individual but to become a citizen. Citizen the term dictates belongingness, it is not related to just a country, area or to a group or religion, it signifies a person becoming a part of the whole. When this sense of belongingness is induced to people, they tend to take responsibility. This is how educators play a vital role in making the next generation better than what we currently are. There is a parallel approach of study that is being taking consideration for executing a better prospect in turning students into better citizens.

The hands-on learning
The idea of linking hands-on learning with academics is not a new one. Great teachers have advocated education through experience at the turn of the last century. Unfortunately, relatively few schools offer this integrated approach, typically limiting instruction to textbooks and lectures. Yet, the evidence suggests that students who engage in experiences that connect school learning to the real world, are more likely to stay in school. Furthermore, such experiences increase the chances that students will be both college and career ready. Work-based learning programs are an integral part of Linked Learning and help foster the goal of providing students with the skills they need to succeed in college and career and turn into a good citizen.

The schools should also make the students technologically advances. The technology rate is much higher nowadays and if students are not being made aware of the advancements they will lack behind and will not be able to utilize all resources. As to be responsible one should be resourceful. School themselves should use technology and set an example to the very students they teach by at least installing a school management software. Hence, by using some new techniques and setting some good examples teachers and school can prepare great future citizens.
